Every pillow we owned failed the same way. Memory foam started supportive and ended up warm and flat. Down felt great for an hour and then wasn't there. Both of us were awake at 3am, folding a pillow in half to get another inch of height.

The honeycomb structure was the first thing that solved both problems at once — it holds its shape because it's a structure, not a filling, and it stays cool because it's mostly air. We spent eight months getting the contour right, then another three testing it with side, back and combination sleepers before we'd sell it.
